Designed for longevity and aesthetic appeal, this 80cm fire bowl is crafted from 3mm thick Corten steel (weathering steel). This material is engineered to evolve: it requires no painting, sealing, or maintenance.
The Weathering Process: The bowl arrives with a raw, gunmetal-grey finish. Upon exposure to outdoor moisture, it begins to develop a protective layer of rust. Within weeks, the steel transforms to a rich, earthy orange-brown. Unlike standard steel which corrodes, this patina acts as a shield, preventing the material from rusting through.
