The warranty does not cover changes, fading or damage caused by extreme weather conditions (including severely heavy rain or wind, heat from BBQs and heaters). The warranty also does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident or negligence. Installation instructions MUST be followed closely as damage caused by not following the instructions voids your warranty.

Warranty covers domestic use only and excludes commercial use.

A pergola is an investment that adds undeniable value to your outdoor space. With the proper care, cleaning, and maintenance, you can ensure that your pergola not only looks appealing, but lasts for years to come. We’ve created a thorough, step-by-step maintenance guide to help you keep your pergola in perfect condition no matter the season.

Inspect Your Pergola A Few Times A Year

1. Visually inspect your pergola to make sure there is no visible wear and tear, or rust and corrosion, particularly around the seams, joints, and tracks. Left untreated this can be dangerous to the integrity of your structure.

2. Check the motor (if applicable) and keep clean of dust and dirt.

3. Identify any debris that has accumulated on the structure and remove it. Twigs, leaves, and other items can get caught in the roof slats and prevent them from functioning properly, so regularly check and gently remove anything you see.

4. Trim back vines and bushes that grow on or near your pergola to make sure they’re not damaging the structure.

Clean Your Pergola Regularly

1. Using a hose or bucket, rinse your pergola to remove any loose dirt on the surface of the structure.

2. Check the gutters and roof slats of the pergola and remove any dirt that has built up, before flushing them with water to completely clear them.

3. Fill a bucket with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Try not to use harsh chemicals when cleaning your pergola as this can strip away the coating.

4. Use a soft-bristled brush or sponge dipped in the soapy water to gently clean away dirt or grime that has built up on the structure. 

5. Cleanse away the soap using clean water.

6. Using a microfibre cloth or towel, dry the structure of your pergola. This prevents water spots and streaks being left behind.

Keeping Your Accessories Clean

1. Privacy Screens: These can be kept clean by wiping away any visible dirt with a damp sponge. Do not use harsh chemicals as this can damage the screen material. Once it’s clean and all the marks have been removed, let it air dry for the best results.

2. Shutter, Slatted, or Patterned Walls: Use warm soapy water and a cloth to clean away any dirt, before rinsing with clean water and air drying.

3. Glass Walls and Doors: Use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean away marks and dirt. 

4. Sliding Doors: Check the tracks regularly to ensure dust and dirt don’t build up. Use a handheld vacuum cleaner to remove if necessary.
