The firepit is made of corten steel, a weathering steel that develops a rust patina. This industrial looking material is both durable and dynamic in appearance, exhibiting a sense of multi-dimensional layers of deep copper and bronze hues. The Corten steel firepit does not come pre-weathered, but transforms after time spent outside.
The rust patina resists corrosion, requires no treatment or weather-proofing, and does not compromise the structural strength of the steel. Unlike raw steel, Corten steel is corrosion resistant due to its alloy composition - it will not show bubbling, flaking or peeling, which normally occurs with raw steel. Rather, a soft intended layer of rust blankets the steel with deep earthy tones and is why Corten is favoured among architects and artists. Corten steel is made from recycled content and is 100% recyclable.

Attention: Does not arrive pre-weathered. If you put the fire bowl outside, moisture and/or rain will quickly create a first corrosion layer. The manufacturer often supplies the brazier with a recognisable corrosion layer, but it also happens that the steel is still even and the first "rust formation" has yet to occur. This will occur quite quickly.

Generally all products at Living Culture have at least a 12 month warranty. You can check the warranty information of each item in the product description. Contact us within the warranty period if you encounter any problems associated with the product.
Living Culture will replace your product if it is found to be “dead on arrival” (DOA) at our cost.
If you change your mind after the payment is confirmed, we will issue a store credit (lessany shipping and handling fees) and the item can be returned to us at your cost. Items must be returned in "as new" condition with all packaging and accessories (including manuals).
If your item is faulty, please contact us within the warrant period and we will assess your claim on a case-by-case basis and offer a replacement, full refund or store credit.
